Our Occupational Screening Center and Mobile Unit are Accredited Specimen Collection Facilities as designated by the DATIA. This certification ensures our clients that we are committed to offering superior collection services and adhere to strict standards in areas such as regulatory compliance, company services standards, client confidentiality, specimen handling, operational practices, business ethics, facility equipment, and professional competency.
Schmidt & Associates is also proud to be one of under 45 companies nationwide to have the designation of Nationally Accredited for Administration of Drug & Alcohol Testing Programs from DATIA. We are the only dedicated testing organization in North Dakota, South Dakota, or Minnesota to have achieved this honor.
All members of our staff have achieved the designation of Certified Professional Collector by the DATIA. This rigorous program requires experience in specimen collections, training of personnel to become proficient in specimen collections, as well as a comprehensive examination to test the proficiency level of the collector.
The quality of work in our facilities is continuously monitored by extensive internal quality controls and participation in certification administered by outside agencies. All facilities and staff take recertification tests annually to maintain procedures and skills and to keep abreast of the latest in regulations and new technologies. We aim for continuous quality improvement as the industry and its policies and processes change.
