One of the behavioral issues facing many parents today is the high rate of drug and alcohol experimentation. Parents tend to avoid this behavioral and health issue more than any other. It is difficult for parents to face the idea that a child could be
experimenting with mood-altering substances.
Our children and teens often don't see the link between their actions today and the consequences tomorrow. They also have a tendency to feel indestructible and immune to the problems that others experience.
